Citibank Protest in Sydney: STAND WITH STANDING ROCK RALLY #NODAPL #WaterIsLife

 Citibank is one of the key funders of the Dakota Access Pipeline, a dangerous fossil fuel pipeline is under construction passing under the Missouri River where the Standing Rock Sioux draw their water. Peaceful water protectors standing in its path have been met with violence by heavily armed police. A rally held in solidarity with Native Americans was held today at 12.30 outside Citibank’s Sydney headquarters calling on them to stop funding the DAPL. Indigenous leaders addressed the rally with Knitting Nannas and water conservation groups in attendance. #NODAPL #WaterIsLife
